Make Collage
Create A Collage For Facebook: If you have a Facebook page, you might wish to custom-made layout the Cover photo. Picasa's collage tool is a wonderful way to do this. If you are a Geeks on Trip member, we recently made a complete 'Brief Program' on making use of the collage device. This suggestion is taking simply one piece of that program and making it freely available for all.
Facebook Cover Photo's Size
The key to earning a Facebook Timeline cover image is the dimensions. Or, much more especially the ratio of the size to width, referred to as the Element Ratio. A little bit of research shows up the fact that Facebook's perfect proportion is 851X315. Not sure why it's 851-- that sounds a bit odd to me. 850X315 works penalty.
To achieve this with Picasa, you have to set a custom-made facet proportion. On either the Crop dimensions drop-down box, or the page Style drop-down box, you'll see the capability to 'Include Personalized Element Proportion' below the checklist. Choose that and just get in 850X315. See a previous idea: Resizing an Image's Height as well as Size.
Actions for a Collage to be a Facebook cover image
-The appropriate aspect ratio for a Facebook cover image is 850X315 (see tutorial video: Resizing Photos to size and elevation) Utilize the page layout readying to alter to that proportion.
-Re-crop the background photo to the 850/315 proportion also.
-Reduce and move 3 little photos to bottom right in order to make room for your profile image (character) in Facebook
-Develop collage, then Export results. Select 850 as the export size (this is not called for, Facebook will resize as long as the percentages are right.).
-Log right into facebook and hover over your cover photo, click where it claims 'Change Cover' as well as Publish the exported collage.
-Save Changes.
