If someone changed your language to one you don't recognize (as a "joke", or by crash), are afraid not: below's Facebook In English Language even if you cannot read words!

Once you've logged into your account, click the white down arrow (leading right edge).


Select the "Settings" link: it is the 5th link in the dropdown food selection (see screenshot) - as additional assistance, your web browser normally shows you a web link's target when you move your mouse above it - in the reduced left corner of the screen, your browser should show this LINK (net address): "https://www.facebook.com/settings".

Considering that the "General settings" tab is immediately picked, simply click on the last option on the screen, as revealed on the screenshot below. Click on the dropdown menu as well as find "English (United States)" (or whatever your preferred language is).

Idea: strike the letter "E" to quickly scroll to all the English choices. When you've selected the ideal version, click the blue switch (that's the one to "Save"


The page will swiftly refill (in English!), and you'll obtain the verification that the default language has actually been transformed back to English: the setup is highlighted in yellow, with a "Changes saved" notification on the right. Enjoyable pointer: switch to English Pirate or English Upside Down!

Facebook includes enjoyable language variants (including Latin!!) - simply select "English (Pirate)" to use fantasy old English (Arrr!), or "English (Upside Down)" to vertically flip all letters on the display - the good news is, some message (like your username) stays readable in normal text.
