Connect Instagram to Facebook

First thing's initial: let's go through Connect Instagram To Facebook. You'll need to do this because Instagram advertisements are handled via the Facebook ad system (not a surprise given that Facebook owns Instagram).

Connect Instagram To Facebook

There are two means to do this, and we'll reveal you both.

If you have a Manager account, follow these steps to obtain Instagram configuration on your account:

First, login to your Business Manager account and hover over the Business Settings tab. Select Instagram Accounts.

Next off, click Claim New Instagram Account as well as enter your username and also password for Instagram.

Finally, choose the advertisement account you wish to connect to your Instagram account. That's it-- you're done!

If you don't have a Manager account, you'll follow a somewhat different set of steps.

First, go to the Facebook page that represents the Instagram account you intend to include and pick Settings in the top right edge.

Next, select Instagram Ads from the Settings sidebar. You'll then be motivated to add an Instagram account to the web page.

Enter your username and password for the Instagram account when motivated, and you excel to go.

Running Instagram advertisements without an Instagram account

If you do not have an Instagram account, you are still able to run Instagram ads without linking an account by just selecting Instagram as your positioning option (we'll cover this in the following section).

However, we do not recommend running Instagram advertisements without an Instagram account. When you run Instagram advertisements, you're likely to pick up some followers on Instagram just because your post is going to remain in individuals' feed. If you run Instagram advertisements without an Instagram account, you'll be leaving these fans on the table. It doesn't make sense to not use an account when creating one takes less than a min.

All set to go on?

If you have actually efficiently attached your Instagram account to Facebook, it's time to proceed to the following lesson: setting up your Coverage design templates.
